Making a decision to move into a nursing facility can be a difficult one for the prospective resident and family members. Questions concerning medical care, costs, security, cleanliness , meals and activities can sometimes overwhelm a family or friend faced with the need to place someone they love into a nursing home.
At Mt. Macrina Manor, we do everything possible to ease your decision to join our family. We respond quickly when unexpected circumstances require you to place a loved one with us. Our philosophy of providing a home-like atmosphere for our residents is reflected not only in the design of our building, but is demonstrated in the love, compassion and skill of our caregivers as well. Family and friends are encouraged to visit and become part of our family.
Mt. Macrina Manor is a Byzantine Catholic, long-term care facility sponsored by the Sisters of St. Basil the Great. It is a member of the Catholic Long Term Care Network, the Faith-based Long Term Care Network, the Catholic Health Association, PANPHA and AAHSA.
The tradition of service, which has been the hallmark of the Sisters of St. Basil for nearly three decades, is expressed in the holistic care to persons of all denominations that addresses not only the medical, social and physical needs of the residents, but also addresses the residents’ relational, emotional and spiritual needs. At Mt. Macrina Manor, illness is treated within the context of the whole person and within the context of faith. As a sponsor, the Sisters embrace the Manor’s mission to be an integral expression of their commitment to God and His people.
